I had a good experience with the tracking. I got updates quickly and always had a clear idea of where my order was along the way.

The notes they listed were mostly right, I think, but on me the perfume came out way sweeter than the site made it sound. I did like how they talk about the overall vibe and not only the notes, because that helps. But a couple of the samples, they were not really what I expected. Not bad or anything, just I wish the descriptions said more clearly how strong or powdery some of them can get.

The selection felt limited, which was a bit disappointing. I feel like that’s preventable with better planning or restocking, especially if people are coming in expecting a decent variety. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I definitely wish there had been more options to choose from.

I gotta say, the prices were actually really fair, almost to the point where I started wondering what the catch was. But nope, everything was solid and totally worth it. Feels rare these days, like they didn’t get the memo from the secret price-hiking committee.

I stopped in hoping to just wander around and smell a few things without overthinking it, but the whole place had this weird tense energy. The shop itself looked nice and the scents were genuinely good, but it was so quiet that I felt like every little move I made was being noticed.
The staff were polite, so it wasn’t like anyone was rude, but they didn’t exactly make the place feel welcoming either. I ended up leaving sooner than I planned, which was annoying because I’d already spent the time and energy going there, and it felt kind of wasted.

I like using Ministry of Scent when I want to try newer fragrance releases without committing to a full bottle. I ordered a sample set, and everything arrived in good shape. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. For me, sampling is part of the fun because it helps me figure out what actually feels like “me” before buying more, so overall I’m happy with the experience...

I didn’t expect much after checking a few other perfume shops and coming up empty, but this place actually had my scent in stock. Ordering was simple, and thankfully there wasn’t any weird backorder situation or surprise delay. Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.

I tried their personalized scent recommendations, but they were off for me. I specifically said I don’t like sweet vanilla-type scents, and then a couple of the samples I got were basically exactly that. Compared to other fragrance quizzes I’ve tried, this one felt a lot less tuned in. Shipping was totally fine, no complaints there, but the actual recommendations made it seem like nobody really paid attention to my answers

I do like this shop and I’ve bought from them before, but the restock alerts have been more frustrating than helpful. I was waiting on a few items, and they stayed out of stock way longer than the dates made it seem. Then the alerts either came too late or didn’t match what was actually available.
When I asked about it, it kind of felt like I just got the usual policy explanation instead of any real help, which made it more annoying. I get that restocks can be unpredictable, but as a customer, constantly checking back and still missing things gets old fast. 2 stars for now.

I was in a relaxed mood while browsing ministryofscent, and the site made it easy to stay that way. Everything looked clean, and I could find brands and scent notes without feeling lost or irritated, which I really appreciated. The only thing that knocked it down to 4 stars for me was that a few pages loaded slower than I wanted, and the filters could be a bit more helpful. But overall, checkout was simple and the whole experience felt smooth enough.

I’ve actually gotten some decent use out of their loyalty rewards. I’ve redeemed points a couple of times and it was straightforward, which I appreciated. It definitely gives me a reason to come back. That said, I do wish the rewards built up a little faster or had more options, but overall it’s one of the better loyalty programs I’ve used...

I ordered curbside pickup and still sat outside for almost 25 minutes. I called twice. Nobody really gave me a clear answer. I ended up having to go inside anyway. That kind of defeats the whole point. I won’t be doing pickup here again...

I tried to return a scent that just wasn’t for me, the whole process was frustrating. The replies were slow, the instructions weren’t clear, and I felt like I had to keep following up just to get anywhere. Even trying to exchange it wasn’t any easier. Come on now, returns shouldn’t be this much of a headache. I definitely won’t be shopping here again.

I really liked my first scent box. The picks were fun, it showed up quickly, and everything was easy with no issues. i’m glad I gave it a try because I would’ve hated missing out on finding a few new scents I actually enjoy

I like the site overall, and checkout was simple, so that part was fine. The payment options though, I don’t know, they’re okay but nothing amazing. I was kind of expecting a pay later option or maybe an easier way to split payments, especially because sometimes you just don’t want to pay the whole amount upfront. What they do offer works, so it’s not like I had any real problem with it. Just felt a little basic. Anyway, the site itself is good, I just think the payment side could be more flexible.
